Vriddhi is a social initiative that brings together children in need of education and people who can contribute time towards motivating/teaching them. It is based on one simple principle: If you have the desire to teach, we will put you in touch with underprivileged children who are willing to learn. As Albert Einstein said - Today's problems cannot be solved if we still think the way we thought when we created them. Currently, India is facing the problem of 'accessibility' of quality education to all. India may be the fastest growing democracy in the world. But, more than half of its citizens are not able to be part of and take part in the development. This is because there is a difference between availability and accessibility. Though a lot may be available to the people of India, only fortunate few can have access to it – be it business, jobs or justice. With the Joy of Sharing program, we are providing a platform for the privileged section of the society to help the non-privileged. Vriddhi aims at making quality education accessible to people all over India, irrespective of their financial conditions, as well as inspiring a greater sense of volunteerism. |
